What is Mothers Unlimited and what is our mission:

Mothers Unlimited is a network of clubs for moms and their families. We began in January of 2006 with 25 members and 1 chapter. We now have over 500 members and 7 chapters strong. Mothers Unlimited is truly that, Unlimited. We have dads who are members, grandparents, nannies or caregivers and people who have all of their children grown and out of the house. Why do we attract people from all walks of life? Because we are FUN and we have only 2 Rules:

  • Everyone is welcome everywhere!
    We do not discriminate based on age of child, geographic location, work status, ethnicity, gender, etc.
  • We will always offer support to our women seeking to re-enter the workforce through our business development programs and groups.

We feel that mothers are the cornerstones of our society. We know from our own personal experiences the positive outcomes that transpire when mothers come together and feel understood, supported and encouraged by other mothers. Through the strong friendships for ourselves and our children created in Mothers Unlimited, we have the capabilities and resources to positively affect our families. In turn, we can reach beyond ourselves, to improve the families in our communities.

We are always looking to open Mothers Unlimited Chapters in new areas.

Barbie Tew President Mothers UnlimitedI have to say that I have never been a baseball person. It is not that there is anything particular about the game that turns me off; I just never got into it. I have been to some fun events like Mariners games in Seattle, and I have enjoyed some evenings watching the Mudcats with friends, but I did not look forward to my sons venturing into the sport. I envisioned long afternoons in the scorching heat watching children sweat on the field sprinkled with flurries of activity. Boy, was I wrong. (more)
